The UCS Center cordially invites guests at the screening of the cult classic Soviet comedy Two Birds with One Stone -- also known as Chasing Two Hares, 1961. The comedy is an adaptation of the play by Ukrainian writer Mikhail Starytsky (1840-1904). The screening is the first of a two-part seminar on film adaptations of Ukrainian literature. All welcome at room 428 at PC Hoofthuis, Spuistraat 134, 1012 VB Amsterdam, 26.04, 5pm. Entrance free, refreshments provided, language: Ukrainian, subtitles: English.
